About This Qualification
This qualification applies to managers, leaders, technical experts or others who exercise strategic, leadership and/or change management roles across an organisation implementing competitive systems and practices. This qualification provides targeted, specialised skills and knowledge in competitive systems and practices with an emphasis on leadership, alignment of organisational strategy and values with competitive systems and practices, developing organisational culture and systems and value chain liaison.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

Is this qualification currently available via RPL?
We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that specialise in this high-level qualification. While not immediately available for enrolment, registering your interest ensures you are the first to know when the pathway opens.
Why should I register my interest?
Registering allows us to begin an informal review of your experience. Once we have a delivery partner ready, we can move quickly to guide you through the evidence gathering process, ensuring your expertise is prioritised.
Is RPL the same as traditional study?
No. Recognition of Prior Learning is an assessment-only pathway. It recognises the skills you have already developed through years of senior leadership, rather than requiring you to repeat learning in a classroom environment.
What counts as 'Competitive Systems and Practices'?
This is a broad term used to describe various business improvement methodologies. If you have experience in Lean, Agile, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency-focused systems, your expertise is highly relevant.
Do I need a prior degree to be eligible for a Graduate Certificate?
Not necessarily. While a Certificate IV or higher in a related discipline is a common entry point, significant experience at a supervisor, manager, or technical specialist level can also meet the entry requirements for this qualification.
