What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

Is an RPL qualification the same as one from full-time study?
Yes, the qualification issued is the same nationally recognised certificate. The standards of competency are identical; the process simply allows you to demonstrate your expertise through your existing work history rather than repeating training for skills you already possess.
Does my experience with race data logging count towards this qualification?
Absolutely. Collecting and logging motor sport data is a core competency within this qualification. Your ability to demonstrate proficiency in using data to monitor vehicle performance is a significant piece of evidence for your portfolio.
