About This Qualification
This qualification covers competencies to select, install, set up and test surround sound, home theatre and integration aspects for ‘intelligent houses’. It covers the scope of Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Certification level 2.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the process of identifying and vetting Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that meet our standards for the Certificate III in Custom Electronics Installations. We recommend registering your interest to receive an update as soon as a pathway is established.
