About This Qualification
This is a qualification for a person who provides leadership and strategic direction in materiel logistics across acquisition and sustainment. Materiel logistics is the through life management of materiel to achieve the stated requirements of the capability manager.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

Is this qualification currently available for RPL?
We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) who have this qualification on their scope. While not yet available for immediate enrolment, we are actively building the pathway for recognition.
Why should I register my interest?
Registering ensures you are the first to know when a suitable RTO partner is secured. It also allows us to begin a preliminary review of your experience so you are well-positioned for the evidence-gathering phase when the pathway opens.
Is an RPL qualification the same as one earned through study?
Yes. A qualification issued through Recognition of Prior Learning is identical to one earned through traditional study. It is assessed against the same national standards and carries the same weight with employers and regulatory bodies.
What level of experience is required for this Advanced Diploma?
This qualification is designed for senior leaders. Typically, candidates will have at least six years of experience within CASG or Defence logistics, specifically managing multiple systems, fleets, or directorates.
How do I prove my expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)?
Evidence can include ILS plans you have authored or managed, supportability analysis reports, and documentation showing your management of the acquisition or sustainment phases of the capability life-cycle.
